Our First Live Event was held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at The Atlantic Theatres (aka The Beaches Vineyard in beautiful Atlantic Beach, Florida, USA, starting at 1pm.

Avalonia Festival of Short Films, etc was created in 2017, inspired by the gothic horror novel A Distance from Avalon – when the Dying and the Dead Reunite by Mike Messier.
During the worldwide pandemic, we introduced the Avalonia Photography Competition online festival to honor still photography.
After eight successful Avalonia Festivals, we added the ALL COMEDY SHORT FILM FESTIVAL and All Horror Short Film Festival to our annual Live Event calendar.
Since magical realism is a huge part of our Avalonia legacy, the ALL HORROR SHORT FILM FESTIVAL has also been launched.
